A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS A good picture is certainly worth a thousand words. I spent 15 years writing 15 terrible screenplays which were never seen except by a small group of close friends, The screenplays were awful. I had a picture in my mind as I was writing them, this might have worked for those more gifted in the art of scriptwriting but not for me. In retrospect, I was trying to expose a narrative through words and description. With Photography all I needed to do was choose the right model and tell them what was expected of them and ask them to improvise emotions that they themselves had felt.
